This site is an archive for visually exploring the emblems of Japan's prefectures and municipalities. Tags and search let you browse by design motif or shape. It currently covers 47 prefectural emblems (municipal emblems are planned).

The emblem images on this site (currently 47 prefectural emblems, with municipal emblems planned) are obtained from Wikimedia Commons. Most are treated as public domain, but the license for each individual image should be confirmed on that emblem's detail page and on Wikimedia Commons.
